    After September 11, I recall that landlords donated vacant storefronts to artists to display their work and create art installations that could be viewed from the street. With the pandemic, there are storefronts that are sitting empty everywhere. Rather than leave them dark, why not fill them with art? Artists will have a way to show their work, landlords will draw attention to their available storefronts, and neighborhoods and residents will be enriched by having free access to art.
